Baskets

Baskets were the original containers - used for everything from food stuffs to clothing to anything in the home. They were also portable so they traveled, in certain areas strapped to the back, or to pack animals. they were used for giving gifts, for carrying pies, for dryiing herbs, for holding your fish catch. They were exceedingly useful, and used. They were made of sweet grass, split ash and other woods, rolled straw.....all natural goods from replenishable supplies.
